Delaware: A Brew Story 2017

Get all dolled up in your glad rags on Saturday, September 2 and join us at Alapocas Run State Park’s Blue Ball Barn for Delaware: A Brew Story, a look back at the Roaring Twenties! From 5 to 10 p.m., our temporary “juice joint” will serve up tastings from Delaware breweries, jazz music, the history of Prohibition and booze in Delaware presented by John Medkeff, food trucks, raffles and much more. This event will be the bee’s knees—line up some dead soldiers, just don’t get zozzled! Last call is at 9:45 p.m. Must be 21 or older to attend; photo ID required. Multiple raffle baskets will be up for grabs that include brewery merch, gift certificates, tour & tasting vouchers, and more. The proceeds from ticket sales and raffles will benefit the “Restore the King” initiative, the Friends of Wilmington Parks, and Wilmington State Park’s School Programs Scholarship Fund.
